Eventhough the most popular type of skiing is the downhill ski, I recommend cross-country skiing, because mountain ski resorts become more crowded and overused because of the downhill skiers, and ski jumping is too risky the most dangerous one. Eventhough skiing sounds like a dangerous sport, it has an excellent safety record. If you ski in a proper order, you can enjoy the sport as thousands of others do.
