Abstract
This experiment involved the use of a spectrophotometer and solution mixed by us in the laboratory. The spectrophotometer was used to analyze the speed of the reaction taking place in the sample through the use of light. A solution called guiacol was used because its reactivity with oxygen causes it to turn a brown color adding pigmentation to the solution.
