Another good example of who abused power is Mary Warren. "My name, he wants my name. "I’ll murder you," he says "if my wife hangs! We must go and overthrow the court," he says(114)." Mary is so scared of being jailed or hung so she uses her power to send Proctor to hang for witch craft. Mary does this to save herself and to move any thought on her to Proctor and it worked.
