not sure that the actual quality of the plays has gotten any better. Some of the Shakesperian and Greek plays still hold true as some of the best tragic plays ever written. Being recreated time after time, not just because of there artistic ability, but because they truly are classics. Someday maybe plays similar to Death of a Salesman will reach the same level of fame as some of the plays of the past have.
