all the preparation Woodstock took. I could not believe how much the bands were asking for to play. I was also not aware that the festival was held in Bethel, New York or how high the attendance was. It was more than a silly concert in a field; it was a controversial experience. I would recommend this book to anyone who was slightly interested in the gathering or the counterculture society of the late 60’s
