I believe that the 13th warrior is a close enough depiction of Anglo-Saxon society. Through out the movie there were many examples of this society. The ones which I thought to be the most important include the war-like attitude, fatalism, and revenge. With this movie I was able to understand how the Anglo-Saxon society lived their lives and get a much better image of their personalities and how their attitude in life affects their destiny.
