No Pigs Would Die, shows the maturity of a boy's life over the course of one year. (Thesis) Rob knows how to run and take care of the farm and family. Next, Rob was able to deal with the death of his best friend Pinky. Finally, Rob handled the death of his father excellent. That is how I know that this book is mainly about one boy gaining maturity over a period of his life.
