What were concurrent historical / societal /and-or political contexts or climates that may have impacted the characters or themes in the story? The historical and societal climate extremely affected the outcome of my book because it showed that to blacks during this time in history, it did not matter whether you were innocent or guilty, but whether or not you were white decided your future in life.
