An important project that was in its early stages at GR&AP dealt with commercial sex workers. The department undertook to write a comparative paper on laws related to commercial sex work around the world. I was originally asked to do the research for Canada, and later on was assigned New Zealand, Thailand, Nepal, and India. After learning of his abduction by the church members and immigration's plans to have him deported, I attended the airport and had an emergency interdict drafted to halt the deportation.
