Anne Bradstreet was a gifted poet. She was ahead of time with her knowledge, understanding, ideas and especially her writing abilities. She was extremely talented in using literary techniques to convey messages through her works. I believe that when the words in a poem can touch a reader's heart, the poet has skills that many do not possess. Not many poems are poets are capable of this. In my opinion, Anne Bradstreet was brilliant, not only in her works, but also in her life.
