The story of Beowulf starts out very gruesome and bloody. Before we hear about
all of the disaster these mengo through, we read about a moster who terrorizes the Danes
named Grendel.
Grendel was conceived by a pair of those monsters born of Cain. The creatures
were banished by God forever for the crime of Abel's death. They were shut away from
men into many forms of evil such as monsters, giants, fiends, and goblins
