Beowulf exemplifies all of the characteristics of an Anglo-Saxon epic hero excellently. He shows superhuman strength, accepts his fate, and he roams the earth in hopes of demonstrating his courage. He is truly a good person inside and out, and searches near and far for fame and fortune. He gives hope to the Anglo-Saxon people. Who knows, maybe there is some truth to these tales passed on through all these generations.
