Beowulf vs. The 13th Warrior I read the story of Beowulf and then watched the movie The 13th Warrior. Both of these works are from around the same time period. …showed last 75 words of 405 total…were no longer where in Beowulf, it was the opposite. The last difference I found was in the "monsters." For one, these "monsters" lived in caves, and two, they weren't monsters at all, they were just a clan of crazed humans. After reading Beowulf and watching The 13th Warrior, I have bettered myself in understanding what life was like in that time period. At the same time, I discovered both works many similarities and differences.
