Scarlet Letter could stand for nothing less than an angel. She truly was a rose from concrete. She didn't leave town and try to start over. She felt only God could judge her. She wore the Scarlet Letter to serve a consequence, so when it came to Judgment Day she will not have to be punished. Instead of suffering, she became a stronger, independent person. Hester thrived from the reactions of wearing the Scarlet Letter.
