wanted their country to take the leading role. Russia also faced the challenge of of setting up new economic and government systems. They ended the price controls and because of this it resulted in a lower standard of living for the people of Russia.
The soviet peoples were left to face the great task of building a new political and economical order, a process certain to bring more conflicts to be faced and hopefully overcome.
