Closed Captioning can be one of the equalizers, but until broadcasters take the initiative to caption and spend the extra money, television will be a lost world for the deaf. Is it fair that the deaf community is left out of television bliss? No! The deaf community has just as much right to watch television as we do in the hearing world.
