the characters hide behind their colors and the colors show there true self. All the colors stand for different things. Green is the color of Gatsby, and promise. Yellow is the color for corruption, decay, and death. White stands for the false purity and goodness. White also is the color of Daisy. Lastly blue represents the hope for the future. In the novel of The Great Gatsby the symbolism of colors has the biggest part.
