fiction and reality while Huck the more submissive one, is a little more thoughtful but rebellious. He begins to mature as he reacts to the people and society around him. His thoughtfulness seems to be the defining trait for growth and discipline when compared to Tom and his relationship with Jim eventually begins to change his ignorant views of the society. Huck, I feel is evidently then depicted as the more mature of the two.
