Both stories are very exciting and thrilling. They both make us think about how life should be and what kind of things could be happening to us, but we prevented it. They clearly show the two types of government: capitalism and totalitarism. It shows that capitalism has a lot better living conditions and rules. And the major theme in both of the stories is scrutiny (surveillance).
