The economic structure of a society determines all other structures in the society. While the other structures may have an impact on one or more of the other structures, the economic structure is the only one that affects all of them. Capitalism leads to Protestantism, and slavery leads to a version of Catholic/Protestantism. Capitalism gives us free mate selection while slavery sharply controls it.
Economic structures always include ownership of the means of production.

the owners become workers, and the workers become owners. There is always a class wanting change, which makes it natural to society. When the workers do not like how things are going, they may go on strike, hoping that this will make some change. If all the workers in the society would join together in one union, there would have to be a definite revolutionary change. There are 1.5 million owners, but there are 280 million workers.
