If a student, is truly to become active learners then a cpnstructivist approach is not something teachers can pull out occasionally for novelty. Teachers and students have to develop active constructive habits of mind. Constructivism must become part of the classroom culture. The eventual goal is to have students use this active process in reading on their own.
