Often in Law Enforcement the question of sentencing is a very tough one. The Sentencing Reform Act of 1984 created the Federal Sentencing Commission; they developed some guidelines for individuals and organizations. There are two types of sentencing determinate and indeterminate, both have their benefits, but the question was raised as to which is a better approach to sentencing for an economic crime.

possible prosecute criminals for there wrong doing. Economic criminals easily fall in to the category of being determinately sentenced serving there full term, and then being released back into society with the notion that if they continue to do the things that they do they will again be faced with a determinative sentence, that won't bend because of who they are or how much money they have they will still have to do the time.
