Most of my life I have lived in small towns in the United States where discrimination was something that only existed in the movies, and in the big cities where hate crimes were committed every day. For the first 15 years of my life I had never really experienced discrimination, nor had I seen it first hand. …showed last 75 words of 533 total…name calling is just the beginning. The little children calling us names in the street were just portraying the images that they had grown up with. It was something they had been taught by their mothers and fathers, and the will pass it on through generation to generation. Hopefully racism and discrimination in all its forms will someday end and the world can be a safe place for all of any race or ethnic background.
