…showed last 75 words of 799 total…was able to see great imagery and metaphors used in both poems even though each conveyed a much different meaning. I can honestly say that I was not very excited about this assignment due to my lack of appreciation for poetry. However, I am glad to say that this opportunity to get a closer look at the works of Emily Dickinson has further improved my skills in poetry, therefore raising my interest in this area.
