I am sure that with a little time and effort I could write a book on all the limitations of freedom, but it appears in so many ways, in so many places, and on so many scales, so there must be some way that I can simplify it. It seems that freedom has one real variable which it is dependent upon and that is ability, or one's ability to implement their choice in changes from

easy to conclude that all limitations to our freedom no matter how important and large, or small and insignificant stem from a single, constant, and traceable source. We as individuals and society as a whole are all inevitably bound by our abilities. Whether it is a physical inability or a conscious choice we might make, as long as there exists a limit to human ability, there will always be a corresponding limit to our freedom.
