Many books these days are written with satire to show the ridiculousness of human actions. George Orwell's Animal Farm was written to shed light on the absurdity of the Russian Revolution. There are many similarities between the two. Nothing can change that, and Orwell more than likely was not looking to change the world. He accomplished a lot by revealing some of the inane human actions that many do not realize. Orwell wrote a successful book that is still read half a century later, giving insight to students and even adults in this "modern" society.
