As it can clearly be seen, Hamlet never really makes up his mind about anything. He just confuses himself so much with his babbling that he can no longer think clearly and can now act. No progress is made on his being able to make precise decisions and act on them. This stays the same throughout the remainder of the play and is never resolved.
