The book took me for a ride through time with the Delany sisters it talked about there brothers and sisters (Lemuel, Julia, Henry JR, Lucius, William, Hubert, Laura, & Samuel) there struggles as kids and as adults. …showed last 75 words of 760 total…and did the right thing and were rewarded. I really enjoyed the book and would recommend it as a good reading for anyone. It really touched home for me even more because after doing additional research I found that my family was friends with the Delanys and my Great grandfather was laid to rest at the Delany Funeral Home in New York. The book is inspirational, educational, and historical I would love to learn more.
