Frederick Douglass was a man who stood up for what he believed was right and admired his mistress, Mrs. Auld, for having faith in him. He was a man who knew what he wanted and he strived to receive it. Frederick Douglass was as capable and intelligent as any other human being. He knew everyone was created equal and struggled to have it be shown.
