In "I Want a Wife" By Judy Brady, I believe that Brady is trying to make a statement in such a way that leads us to believe that men tend to be chauvinistic and very discriminatory to women. This story in my opinion is very discriminating to both men and woman, not only men and leaves me feeling a bit uneasy.

Although there tends to be a large number of single parent families today, there are still very many families that are not. Within the households consisting of both parents, in most cases both parents work, whether it is full or part time. In any given event, this shows independence and equality and similar involvement within their family.
