to succeed at getting independence, one has to face environment around him/her, family life, and their inner feelings. They must pass these, if they wish to become independence and if they fail these they might not get independence. Both authors have shown the same theme of independence but their way of showing it to their readers is different. They have also shown similarities between their protagonists which is not an easy thing to do.
