Introduction: My initial motivation for traveling to Italy is my mother. Years ago she took a trip with her father to revisit the villages that he had fought for in World War II as a part of the 10th Mountain Division. …showed last 75 words of 1248 total…nothing from us. Through sparse Spanish, Slow English and goofy hand gestures we will gallivant from Florence to Rome, up through Central Italy, landing in Venice. Throughout the melee, we will soak up enough natural, architectural and historical beauty as possible in 20 days. Of course this must be done with adequate sustenance from the exquisite Italian cuisine. Conclusively, this is exactly what I want to do whether it happens next August or 20 years from now.
