For this piece of coursework I am going to compare how two video versions of Macbeth, the Roman Polanski and the BBC version, captured the full impact of the banquet scene from the original play.
After watching the two films, I found they varied greatly in many ways, in how the characters were portrayed, which methods worked best and how the script was followed.

by looking at every characters line, which I think helped me understand the scene more.
After watching both videos and analysing them I would have to say that overall I enjoyed the Polanski version a lot more. I thought it was a lot more interesting with a more realistic set and the lines a lot more concise, though I can understand how others would want to watch the BBC version, to experience the full play.
