Women and Work in Canada When I first approached Eva Mikelsons for an interview, the first thing she said was "tell them how much I hated it.". It is interesting that Eva feels that the working conditions in Canada, even in the 70's are some much better than they were in Australia because there are so many nurses that would argue with her.
