most important not being able to say "this is who I am". The positive aspects are very scares. Some of the only things must be that they really appreciate each other. Sometimes George may say or do things that would be considered rude by people who did not understand George's and Lennie's "relationship". But I'm convinced that George doesn't mean to harm Lennie in any way, this is proved at the end of the story.
