I also learned that recovery and relapse work together to enhance ones ability to remain abstinent from abusive behaviors. Abusers that are in recovery have a greater chance of relapse to happen. This article was instrumental in assisting me in gathering information about the causal factors of relapse regardless of the type of addiction.
