Reviving Ophelia Mary Pipher's book, Revivng Ophelia, was an attempt to describe the struggle our adolescent girls endure trying to make sense of our popular culture. I guess majority rules. But had I though of it then, I would have had an audience member question Mary on stage about the absence of certain groups in her book and her failure to mention that boys suffer from this culture too.
