The much anticipated prom season is almost here again and for teenage girls this means the stress of buying dresses, making hair appointments and decided who to go with. Although that is exciting, for many families painful memories of past prom seasons make each passing one seem like nothing more than a reoccurring nightmare. Many organizations have been formed over the years to make society aware of the effects of drunk driving, such as SADD (Students Against Drunk Driving) and MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving). With excitement of prom in my thoughts this year my main concern is not what I will wear or who I will go with but that it will be a drug-free, safe prom.
