Man is a product of his environment. This has held true since the beginning of man's existence. In the short story "The Broken Globe" by Henry Kreisel, it especially holds true. Man's beliefs can be attributed to the environment around them.

The environment around them is strongly associated with Man's belief system. Nick Solchuk found a better life through the use of his new environment. His father lived out the life his son was destined to live, had he not found the new environment. In many ways environment impacts the life man leads, as illustrated so well in this story.
