Introduction For our first book report I chose the book The Caves of Steel by Isaac Asimov. This book was set on earth far in the future, in around the year 3300. In a way it is a happy ending because the Spacers decide they are not going to punish the criminal but use him to help them save the Earth. He will help persuade people to go colonize the other worlds so that the Earth will no longer have to support such a large population and so that the population will no longer have to live in caves of steel.
