In the Shakespearean play Othello, Iago is the villainous, evil character of the story. He proves this through spite and revenge, jealousy, and cowardice. His absolute lack of any sympathy and the sick enjoyment of seeing other people suffer prove to all that Iago is truly an evil character. I felt no sympathy toward him as other readers did, and felt no sorrow when his sentence was proclaimed. Iago completely confirmed the theory that whatever goes around, comes around.
