His absolute lack of any sympathy and the sick enjoyment of seeing other people suffer prove to all that Iago is truly an evil character. I felt no sympathy toward him as other readers did, and felt no sorrow when his sentence was proclaimed. Iago completely confirmed the theory that whatever goes around, comes around.
