In order to understand any story, you have to know where its' characters are coming from. You have to know the where, the who, the when in order to grasp the true essence and value within. To be able to imagine the setting and feel yourself in it allows you to transform into the piece. Once you transform, you believe. And only when you feel and believe the sufferings of characters does literature embrace you.
