The the novel "Their eyes are watching God" by Zora Neale Hurston. Janie was the
main character. She was so simlar to Jane from "Jane Erye" by Charlotte Bronte. They both did
what they believed that they should do no matter what it takes. They were both brought up in a
society that emphasis on the idea of men are more superior women. They set a foil to that kind
of society by not following

and beliefs, although the conflicts and situations are very different. There situiations might be
different but yet it the experience is similar. The outburst of those two characters showed the
readers how much they were suffering by the mistreatment of their love ones. the endings of
the two novels are different but yet those two characters found something that they've been
searching for in the novels, it would be their identity.
