It is part of our human nature to follow certain social rules in order to live among others. As children, we are taught how to act in front of elders, friends and in many different places wherever we go. our true feelings from others, and that is because there is a need for protection. The further we go into a person's thoughts, the more we get to know about that person. Ironically, at the same time, we can be with a person for a long time and not know him at all. This story teaches us about the effects such social masks have on lives, and how honesty can many times be a relief.
