To conclude, London attempted to inquire an old but also maybe eternal topic in the story: man's position in the universe, or in other word, how to live harmoniously with Nature. Reader can find different answers in the novel, optimistic or pessimistic. In my viewpoint, the combination of four points of what I mentioned above is an acceptable and rational answer.
