starting from the open-minded Scout, to the heroic Atticus, whose courage was unheard of on that age of time, and also strange but very normal Boo Radley.
Reading it would transport someone in the time where life was simple but also harsh, and being different was something evil. Experiencing Maycomb through the eyes of an innocent child was truly engrossing, thus making To Kill a Mockingbird to me an American classic never to be forgotten.
