To kill a mockingbird is, as well as being a fantastic read, one of those books that has the affect to make the reader look back on him/herself and reflect on their judgements and decisions, and make them think to themselves: what would Atticus do? This book would be ideal for anyone over the age of 12 who hasn't yet read it, as it truly is a timeless classic.
