The Uniform Computer Information Transactions Act (UCITA) is a proposed state contract law designed to standardize the law dealing with the licensing of software and other forms of digital information. However I don't know if UCITA is the answer. I feel UCITA is simply a law that tries to impose too many rules with regard to software and is very vague while doing so. It seems that in the future UCITA will do more harm than good if passed in its current form.
