Lee was a man who made the choices he made for his loved ones, and for his country. He was a great man who did all he could with what he had. After Lee's death it was accepted that Lee was a great man and one of the best generals of the war. He was handsome, clever, brave and gentle. He was generous, charming, noble, modest, admired, and beloved. He was a true American hero.
