this story revolves around feminism. The war is a result of the retaliation of the Acheans for the kidnapping of Helen. Helen is the wife of the Achean Chieftain Menelaus. She was taken to Troy and to win back his wife, Menelaus must go to war with the Trojans. If we take a look into the underlying issues, the war was fought for a woman, and she plays a very important role in the Iliad.
